Pierre Trudeau, LL.B.,
Vice-President and Real Estate Broker
Before joining Colterra as a real estate broker, Pierre practiced real estate law for over 25 years. He attended Université de Montréal and obtained his degree in law in 1984. Pierre was called to the Bar of the Province of Quebec in 1985.
Pierre started his career with Martineau Walker and joined McMaster Meighen in 1990, now known as Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, where he served as a senior partner until joining Colterra.
Throughout his career, Pierre advised numerous industrial and commercial real estate owners, managers, brokers and developers with respect to all matters related to the acquisition, sale, development, structuring and financing of real estate projects. He also represented utilities companies and financial institutions regarding the management and rental of their real estate portfolios.
As a real estate broker with Colterra, Pierre brings his expertise and negotiation skills to the structuring and marketing of the wide array of real estate segments in the marketplace, specializing in the acquisition, sale, leasing, repositioning and development of properties.
Most recently, Pierre was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canadian (Real Estate Law). Pierre is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board and the Urban Development Institute.
